Simple Fall Decorations

This past weekend we decorated the house for Fall.
This is my favorite time of year.
I like to use simple decorations.
We purchased corn stalks and Mums from a local farm, and all of the gourds, mini pumpkins, and full sized pumpkins, except for the really big one, came from our own garden!!

The Antique Milk Box and the step stool were finds at a local Habitat for Humanity RESTORE, the Birdhouse was purchased at Lucketts Spring Market, the wreath was made for me by my neighbor about 5 years ago, and I painted the Welcome and Give Thanks signs.

I feel like it's Warm, and Welcoming!
Earth tones, and Reds are my Favorite colors, so it makes sense for Fall to be my favorite time of year!
When you walk in my front door, I always have a candle burning, right now, it's Coconut..because we've had 90 degree temps here in Baltimore, and I was wearing flip flops and shorts while visiting the Apple Orchard this past weekend..but Apple and Pumpkin candles will be switched out this week!
My husband painted and distressed the Red Buffet a couple of years ago, and it is one of my favorite pieces of furniture! The glass pumpkins and tan finial on the floor came from Home Goods, the Red candle sticks came from Pier1, the Garland and wreat from Michaels, and the Fall sign from Marshalls!

I hope my little touches of Fall make you feel warm and cozy!

  1. Cute! I love that fall sign! I haven't put out any of my fall decor out yet! I should really get moving on that!
